Ordering On-Line
Ordering Online is easy:
To view our books, click on one of the choices from the
"Categories" box to the left.
We recommend selecting ‘All Categories’ and scrolling
through all of our books so you don’t miss any of our great titles.
When you see a book you want to purchase, click the ‘Add To Book
Bag‘ button. We suggest you add any books you are even just
considering mildly to your shopping cart as well – you can always
delete them later if you change your mind. Note that 1 copy is the default
for every title, but to order more just change the quantity.
Using the website is easier, more accurate, and more informational and
up-to-date than looking through a paper catalog. If you are only interested
in certain subject areas, use the categories list on the left side, click
on your interest, and scroll down the titles.

Sales Representatives
About half of the continental U.S. is covered by our sales
representatives. If you would like to set an appointment with your
representative, please call our office: (815) 485-0605. Our representatives are cordial,
honest, and well-organized. They arrive on-time at an appointment of your
choosing. At the last P.L.A. conference we heard compliments about all of
our reps; the consensus among our customers (your friends and colleagues)
is that our salespeople are extremely well-liked; they are friendly,
gracious, and knowledgeable, but not “pushy.”

look at, & read; the website shows a picture of the jacket.

set of jackets; every title in our current inventory.
• Look through the jackets and separate the titles you want from the
ones you don’t.
• Contact us again and we’ll have
the Traveling Warehouse™ picked-up and returned to us. Easy.

you would like to find out if your library has an assigned sales person,
please call our office: (815) 485-0605. Our sales people are friendly,
gracious, patient, low-key, and well-organized; we strongly recommend that
you ask for your sales person.
If, however, your library is located in an area without a salesperson,
or, if seeing sales people simply doesn't work for your library, one
alternative is to order from this website, the other is to request a visit
from the Traveling Warehouse.™ This is a very simple procedure.
The Traveling Warehouse,™ simply put, is everything from which to
select books except the salesperson. At your request, we will arrange to
send you (at our expense) all of the original book jackets from every title
in current stock. All book jackets have a price tag inside which shows the
original price or value, the discounted library price, the date of
publication, and our date of acquisition. Also included are order forms and
envelopes, and should you need it, information on cataloging.
When the box arrives, just give us a call and we’ll walk you
through it and answer any and all questions. But, basically, the only thing
your selectors need to do is look through the jackets and separate the
yes’s from the no’s … we’ll do the rest, including
all of the secretarial work, if you like, for free.
The whole process takes no more than 30 minutes per selector. Call us back
when you’re done, and we’ll have the box of jackets picked up
and returned to us. Again, at no cost to you. Nothing, to it!
You’ll look at great titles at big discounts and do so on your own
schedule with no pressure. Every book we sell is guaranteed; if any title
arrives and it is not what you thought it would be, simply return it to us
for credit or refund.
